What I'm doing now

A now page — what I'd tell you if we ran into each other and you asked what I've been up to. It goes stale on purpose; the date above is the only promise I'll keep.

Building in the open

Most of my hours go to the day job — PHP and Laravel systems — and, around the edges, to side projects pointed at F.I.R.E. Right now that means:

  • Tending a couple of small Laravel packages and writing up what I learn from them.
  • Chipping away at side-project ideas that could one day pay their own way.
  • Trying to answer email the same week it arrives. Some weeks I manage it.

Writing it down as I go

I keep this site partly to think in public — to turn the problems I hit into notes that I (and maybe you) can find again later.

Previously

Before now, a run of systems built for real operations: inventory and procurement, label printing, and the gradual refactor of a five-year-old monolith into modular packages. Each one taught me something I'm still using.

Not collecting subscribers for now — but always happy to hear from you.
